<div>2 group sessions to understand the principles of anxiety and symptoms surrounding it and 1 individualised session to promote self-discovery.</div><div style="margin-top: 20px"><div style="margin: 20px 10px;font-size: 15px;line-height: 22px;font-weight: 400;text-align: left;"><p>Anxiety is one of the most common struggles that everyone faces at some point in their lives, a lot of people struggle with anxiety unknowingly because anxiety tends to present with physiological symptoms which could have a negative impact on people’s lives such as high blood pressure, avoidance, lowered mood and missed opportunities. This course is designed to go through the fundamentals of anxiety disorders such as generalised anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder by looking into their symptoms, traits and how they presents in everyday life. This course is designed to provide insight about the structures of our cognitive ability, to learn how to identify our environmental triggers, to improve our relationship with reflexive anxious symptoms within ourselves and to identify anxious symptoms in others. </p><p>There will be 2 group sessions (22nd and 29th April 2022) and the last session of this course would be a psychological 1:1 therapeutic review with the course facilitator to explore your progress on implementing the psychological techniques in your day-to-day routine, lastly, we will create a unique care plan. </p><p>These sessions will be facilitated by Ama Amoako – Psychological Therapist & Certified Wellbeing Coach.</p><p></p><p><strong>About your facilitator </strong></p><p>My name is Ama Amoako, founder of ‘SimplyAma-YourLifeCoach LTD’. I am a certified Wellbeing Coach with a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited BSc degree in Psychological Counselling and Therapies, MSc in Psychological Therapies, and an accredited Life Coaching/Mindfulness Diploma.</p><p>Over an 8-year span, I have accumulated years of experience, working in the mental health sector, ranging from a mental health recovery support worker to an assistant psychologist; a journey that led me to become a psychological therapist, well-being coach & motivational speaker.
