<div>Providing Mental Health Support for Latinx Populations</div><div style="margin-top: 20px"><div style="margin: 20px 10px;font-size: 15px;line-height: 22px;font-weight: 400;text-align: left;"><p><strong>Discussion Topics Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Increasing awareness and normalizing mental health treatment for the Latinx community</li><li>Overcoming the negative stigmatization of mental health services and mental illness</li><li>Developing connections and creating a safe space for 1st generation Latinx students to increase emotional expression </li></ul><p>Mauricio Borrego: Doctoral Intern </p><p>Mauricio is a Psy.D. candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at Azusa Pacific University. He was raised within a multicultural background, and has lived in different countries with a variety of unique values, perspectives, and traditions.
