In the online Healing Resilience & Empowerment workshop, you will learn more about the body, breath and mind to instantly eliminate stress, trauma fears, anxieties and manage your emotions - right from your own home.

2020 has been a year of challenges, and yet it has also allowed us to grow and seek inner calm despite the uncertainty surrounding us.

In this 60 min workshop, you will get the chance to pause, take a breath and clear your mind with the help of gentle physical exercises, energising and calming breathing techniques and a guided meditation.

The Healing, Resilience & Empowerment (HRE) Workshop is an energising interactive three-session workshop run weekly on Tues, Wed and Thurs from 7-8 pm (SAST).

How breath helps reduce stress and anxiety

Breathing techniques improve circulation and blood flow to the brain and activate our parasympathetic nervous system, which means that our brain gets the message to relax.


In this free HRE workshop, you will learn the alternate nostril breathing technique amongst others. This technique activates the left and right hemispheres of the brain. When balance is created between the two hemispheres, we feel less stressed and anxious and more relaxed.


Learn breathing exercises that boost health and immunity

Science is recognising that proper breathing is essential for health. Targeted breathing exercises can boost our immunity and improve our overall health. Learning how to breathe is one factor that reduces our susceptibility to getting sick.

We breathe over 10,000 Litres of air per day, and the more expanded our lung capacity is, the more nutrients our body can absorb. It's essential to learn how to do breathing techniques under the proper guidance of a certified facilitator to practice them in the right way to get the full benefit.
