<div>Learning and equipping participants to balance the most pleasurable and difficult emotions.</div><div style="margin-top: 20px"><div style="margin: 20px 10px;font-size: 15px;line-height: 22px;font-weight: 400;text-align: left;"><h1>Anxiety and Emotional Regulation</h1><p>This virtual group supports adults in developing relationships with other group members and teaches skills to help cope with anxiety and emotional wellness. </p><p>Over the course of seven weeks we will explore cultural and generational influences on understandings of anxiety, discuss distress tolerance and develop grounding skills. </p><p>This group will be led by two mental health professionals every Friday from November to mid December.
</p><p>Goals for the group:</p><ul><li>Tools and strategies for managing anxiety,</li><li>Tips on reducing the intensity of the emotion,</li><li>Strategies for building and maintaining healthy communication when emotionally distressed,</li><li>Enhancing emotional connection between yourself and others, and</li><li>Enhancing emotional intelligence skills.</li></ul><p>Photo by: (Rodriquez, 2020)</p></div></div>
