Description
A supportive course to help you understand bipolar, develop practical coping strategies, and feel more confident managing your wellbeing.

What is this course?

Our Essentials course is an opportunity for people living with bipolar in Scotland to come together in a small, supportive online group to explore what self-management looks like, and how it can help you stay well and feel more in control.

Designed by people with lived experience, the course is grounded in real-life insight, not just theory.

Delivered across four 2-hour online sessions, it will help you develop a deeper understanding of your own experiences and build practical tools that work for you.

What will we cover?

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Understanding your triggers and early warning signs
  • Acceptance and self-compassion
  • Mood monitoring and recognising patterns
  • The role of sleep, food and daily routines
  • Preparing for the future and staying well

The course is about supporting you to take an active role in your wellbeing, at your own pace and in your own way.

Course dates (all sessions 6:30pm–8:30pm)

  • Thursday 13 August
  • Thursday 20 August
  • Thursday 27 August
  • Thursday 3 September

Cost

Free of charge – thanks to the support of our funders, including the Scottish Government through the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, we’re able to offer this course at no cost to participants.
