Imagine how much more care, understanding, and empathy we would extend to each other. In this workshop, you will learn to identify the many emotions you feel and visualize them into your very own heart map. This workshop is open to anyone, no matter how familiar or not they are with drawing and painting. Please bring an object to share in our imaginary gallery space. We'll take our meditation to an automatic writing practice to allow our emotions to be released onto paper. How many hands in your lineage have used a single recipe to ease heartbreak and cultivate warmth and love. Our culture and ancestors have always held the tools for our healing. Our senses, stories, and shared connection holds the path to move through hard times and grief. Join us in the kitchen at our virtual Gathering where you are invited to cook together or just hang out at the table and share memories, stories, and connection. Through the Gathering ritual, we will be connecting into the timeless practice which our ancestors have used to navigate grief; sustenance and nourishment. Our cooking workshop &amp; Gathering will be around chai making. Come make chai with us, we will have loads of ginger on hand and cardamom, we will pound spices, simmer and share stories of love, loss and all things delicious and deep.</p><p>Cooking supplies needed: </p><ul><li>Water, Whole milk or alternative milk of choice, fresh Ginger, Cardamom pods, Cinnamon stick, Saffron, Fennel seeds, CTC grade black tea powder or Assam or Nilgiri tea leaves, Sweetener like sugar or jaggery to taste.</li></ul></div></div>
