We understand that living with ARFID can be overwhelming, and we are here to offer you understanding, encouragement, and a community of peers who can relate to your experiences.

At our support group, we gather with the shared goal of providing support and fostering a sense of belonging. We believe that no one should face ARFID alone, and together we can navigate the obstacles that arise from this condition.

During our sessions, we encourage open and respectful dialogue, allowing each member to share their personal stories, challenges, and victories. You'll find a non-judgmental environment where your experiences are validated, and your feelings are acknowledged. Our focus is on promoting self-acceptance, self-care, and exploring strategies to overcome the obstacles ARFID presents.

In this support group, you'll have the opportunity to:

Connect with Peers: Interact with other teens who are going through similar challenges. Share your experiences, concerns, and strategies for coping with ARFID. Build relationships with individuals who understand and empathize with your journey.

Share Coping Strategies: Discover a variety of coping mechanisms, techniques, and self-care practices to manage the difficulties that come with ARFID. From exploring exposure therapy and gradual food exposures to finding alternative sources of nutrition, we encourage members to share their strategies and learn from one another.

Receive Emotional Support: Experience the power of empathetic listening, understanding, and validation from fellow group members. Receive emotional support when facing setbacks, and celebrate your achievements together. Our supportive community is here to uplift and encourage you throughout your journey.

Build Confidence and Resilience: Through shared experiences and encouragement, we aim to help you build confidence in navigating social situations, dining out, and trying new foods.
