Description
Affirming group for Queer Black Women to explore trauma, build emotional awareness, grounding, self-compassion & belonging together.

Please note this group is limited to the first 30 participants who confirm their spot.

This counselling group offers an affirming, supportive space for Queer Black Women seeking to better understand trauma, strengthen emotional attunement, and feel more at home within themselves. Centering lived experiences at the intersection of Blackness, queerness, and womanhood, the group acknowledges how systemic oppression, cultural expectations, and relational wounds shape emotions, the body, and self-perception.

Together, we’ll gently explore how trauma shows up in everyday life our reactions, coping patterns, and emotional responses without judgment or pressure to “fix” anything. The group focuses on building emotional awareness, self-compassion, and tools for grounding and regulation, all at a pace that feels safe. Through guided reflection, shared learning, and connection with others who “get it,” members build emotional awareness, self-compassion, and tools for grounding and regulation.

Being in community with others who truly get it can ease isolation and offer powerful moments of being seen and understood. At its core, this group is about reclaiming softness, authenticity, and belonging, and creating an inner sense of home that feels real, affirming, and yours.
