These <strong><strong>VIRTUAL</strong></strong> gatherings provide a safe and supportive environment where veterans can come together and share in the ancient tradition of storytelling. Find <strong><strong>solace and inspiration</strong></strong> among your veteran community.<br><br>About your <strong><strong>VTTV Coach</strong></strong>.........<strong><strong>About Your VTTV Coach</strong></strong><br><br><em><strong><strong>Nadja Cockrell</strong></strong></em> jokingly says she's held every <em><strong><strong>official and unofficial position</strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em>in the military, but she’s not exaggerating! Nadja is a <em><strong><strong>US Army Disabled Combat Veteran</strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em>with 7 years of service (including 1 year in the Army Reserve). She also spent 13 years as an<em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong>Army Brat</strong></strong></em>, worked for the <em><strong><strong>DOD as a Youth Counselor and Preschool Teacher (OCONUS)</strong></strong></em>, served as an <em><strong><strong>Army Spouse</strong></strong></em> for 12 years, and has been a <em><strong><strong>Blue Star Mom</strong></strong></em> for 4 years. Nadja is the <em><strong><strong>Sister of an Army Soldier</strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em>currently serving and comes from a <em><strong><strong>family with a strong legacy of military service.</strong></strong></em><br><br>Nadja has volunteered for several Veteran Service Organizations, including serving as a <em><strong><strong>Platoon Leader</strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em>for The Mission Continues (TMC) and as a <em><strong><strong>Peer Support Mentor</strong></strong></em> for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Currently, she serves at The American Red Cross as the <em><strong><strong>Services to Armed Forces and International Services Director (SAF IS)</strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em>for Colorado and Wyoming, and she is the<em><strong><strong> </strong></strong></em><em><strong><strong>Interim Senior Program Associate for SAF ISD</strong></strong></em> at National Headquarters.<br><br>Nadja's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Psychology & Military Science, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Nadja is currently pursuing her coaching certification through <em><strong><strong>Mentor Agility's International Federation Coaching and Health and Wellness Coaching Certification</strong></strong></em> programs.
